Sometimes gratitude is an intimate affair shared with close friends and family. If there’s not a TweetsGiving event planned in your city, or if something more private is your style, we’re hoping you’ll invite the people you love to a gratitude party at your house, where you can share your gratitude with friends and family, and celebrate all you have to be thankful for this year.

Gratitude
You can do whatever you want at your gratitude party! Be imaginative and have fun sharing and celebrating your gratitude with one another. Here’s a couple of ideas to spark your creativity.
Giving
Gratitude often inspires giving & we hope you and your guests will want to give in honor of all you’re grateful for. We’ve found that by focusing our efforts toward a common goal, we can have greater impact. Last year, our combined gifts built a classroom. This year, we’re working toward a dormitory/orphanage, school library, school cafeteria and an additional classroom at a school in Tanzania founded by “Mama Lucy” Kamptoni, a local woman who sold chickens and invested her income to build the school near her home. Any additional funds raised will help Epic Change to find and fund future fellows like Mama Lucy. You can read more about our work with Mama Lucy at www.EpicChange.org.
There are 3 ways you can collect donations at your party:

Collect Donations on Your Site Embed a PayPal widget on your blog or website. If you choose this option, you’ll be able to see immediately just how much you’ve raised. Just click “Add to Site” on the widget below and follow the simple instructions to get the embed code you’ll need. For help, reach out to email hidden; JavaScript is required. |
Collect Donations Here Set up a computer at your party, and encourage guests to use the buttons below to make their donations. Unfortunately, you will not be able to view your party’s totals if you choose this option. Alternatively, collect cash, then submit the total funds raised below at the completion of your event. We prefer that you use Google Checkout as they currently do not charge us any transaction fees. Enter your desired contribution amount and click on the “Donate” button to submit your donation. If you prefer to use PayPal, click on the orange “Donate” button below. Please note that a small percentage of your donation will go to PayPal for transaction processing fees. |
Send Check(s) by Mail You may collect checks made payable to “Epic Change, Inc.” or may collect cash and send a personal check for the total amount. On the day following your event, print and fill out this form and mail checks payable to “Epic Change, Inc.” to: Epic Change |
